Friends, family and loved ones. Landscapes and pets. These are all make classic images that we treasure. With digital photography and scanners, any photograph, new or old, can be stored on a computer. Stitchtastic makes it easy to convert these pictures to cross-stitch designs.
Stitchtastic can import a photo or image, and then it will ask you what threads you want to use, how many of them, and how big you want the pattern to be. Then using it’s color to thread matching engine, it will create a new cross-stitch pattern.
It really is as simple as that. Because Stitchtastic also has a full suite of design tools, you can easily clean up any areas you are not happy with before printing your new design.
Stitchtastic produces easy to read charts from your designs. You can print them yourself, or save them to PDF and have them printed by a printer onto a bigger size if you choose.
The designs can be printed using a number of different styles:
- Black and white symbols - a traditional usage.
- Symbols on a colored block - a sometimes favored approach.
- Colored blocks - makes for easy reading on simple designs.
- Red, green, blue and black symbols - like black and white, but easier to read.
